Started by two Columbia gamers, Joe Chee and Ben Brooks, Ukatsu seeks to encourage a positive development for kids while incorporating the games they love. Through their youth programs and Summer camps, Ukatsu helps young gamers thrive through competitive and recreational play. Kids will connect with peers in a positive social environment and learn valuable lessons for both the on and offline world.
“As gamers ourselves, we know of all the good that can come from playing and competing. At Ukatsu, our mission is to encourage the positive problem solving and social interaction that comes from being a part of the gaming community. We preach balance between gaming, relationships, physical activity and personal development and how parents can get on board with the idea of the Ukatsu Gamer.”
